Good morning everyone!!
Well I hope you all took advantage of the awesome sale over on the shop?!! if you haven't, here's a little reminder for you.....
and onto my share for today!! its a zingy little number!! lovely cheery colours for the 1st September!!
And if you fancy making your own here's the details on how to do it!!
You will need:
Green
and pink dotted paper.
Large
flowers paper.
plain
cardstock cut at 4" x 8"
Instructions:
Score
and fold your plain cardstock cut at 4" x 8" at 4". This will be
your cardbase.
Cut
your green and pink dotted paper. You will need 1 at 3 7/8", one at 3 2/8", one at 2 6/8".
Cut
your large flowered paper, You will need one at 3 4/8", one at 3" and
one at 2 4/8".
Adhere
them to your card base, starting with the biggest going down to the smallest,
gluing each layer on top of each other.
You
will see lots of flowers on your top layer. Go to your scraps of the large
flowered paper and cut out all the flowers you can see on your top layer,
snipping down the lines up to the centre of your flower so that you split the
petals. Turn them over and emboss them (if
you don't have an embossing mat you can do this on a folded tea towel with the
rounded end of a pen.
Once
they are nice and curly stick them over the co-ordinating flowers on your top
layer of paper on your cardbase.

ReplyDeleteWow! This card is so bright, like a cold drink of orange juice in the morning! Thank you so much for the embossing technique it looks fantastic. Layering is such a simple way to make a card 'pop' and I forget it when I'm card making, thanks for the reminder.
